How do I care for my latex?

We ship our latex with a light coating of talc powder…this helps keep it from sticking to itself in the shipping process.

If you want to shine up your latex, use a silicone based lubricant or spray, or latex/rubber specific shiner.

Latex can rip quite easily, so be wary of any jewelry or long nails while interacting with your latex piece.  A tip for getting your latex on easier, is to lightly lubricate or talc the inside of the garment and your skin (especially your legs or arms).

To clean your latex piece… place in some (gentle) soapy, lukewarm water and swirl around.  You can use your hands to wipe any trouble spots.  Don’t use anything abrasive on the latex.  Hang as flat as possible to dry, making sure it is completely dry inside and out before putting away.

Latex, especially lighter colors, can discolor easily in the sun or in contact with some metals.  Store latex out of direct sunlight, away from heat sources, and cover any metal with tissue paper so there is no direct prolonged contact.
